Thinking about getting an EV or plug-in hybrid and have general questions about charging an EV/plug-in hybrid at home? This is a great article to learn more about it. And when you are ready to consider an EV or plug-in hybrid more seriously, reach out to us for more of the ins and outs and there are plenty of them. One example - if you are getting a plug-in hybrid and have access to a 120V outlet, that is plenty to charge a plug-in hybrid overnight and there is no reason to invest in the cost of a 240V outlet. But if you need a 240V outlet to charge an EV, this does not mean you also have to purchase a charging station (the pretty box that gets wall mounted) which adds hundreds more to the total cost.
